Isis, the English hostage also beheaded

Another video from Iraq, another beheading recorded by Isis and broadcast via the web. It's the third in less than a month. This time the victim is not American, but British: David Cawthorne Haines, 44, disappeared in Syria about a year ago, as a security expert for various non-governmental organizations.

The two minute and 27 second video is intended for the British premier David Cameron, who immediately replied: “It is an ignoble, revolting murder. We will do everything in our power to hunt down the killers."

Along the same lines the president of the United States, Barack Obama: “We stand with our close friends and allies in mourning and determination and will work with the UK and a broader coalition of nations to bring those responsible for this barbaric act to justice, to weaken and destroy this threat to the peoples of our Countries, of the region and of the world”.

Il movie it follows those of the beheadings of American journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff. Haines is on his knees in the desert, wearing an orange suit similar to that of the inmates of the American military super prison of Guantanamo, while his executioner is dressed in black.

The hostage condemns his government's actions against ISIS and accuses him of being responsible for his death, apparently reading a written text: "You voluntarily entered into a coalition with the US against the Islamic State, as did your predecessor Tony Blair, following the trend of our British premiers who don't have the courage to say no to Americans".

Il floater, also in this case with the face covered, seems to be the same as the two previous films. The strong English accent is clear. Once again the executioner announces a new execution: the next victim, he says, will be another British hostage, identified by the name of Alan Henning.

Then the torturer also turns to Cameron: “This British must pay the price for your promise to arm the peshmerga against the Islamic State. The alliance with the US will only hasten your destruction and drag Britain into another bloody war that you cannot win."
