News for the calculation of the Isee 2017. The Inps has made available on its website an online software which allows you to simulate your own indicator of the equivalent economic situation. No Pin is required to use it.
But beware: the result obtained with this new tool has only an indicative value and should not be confused with the official Isee 2017. Rather, the simulator performs a “guide and orientation function – reads a note from INPS – which allows the user to understand the economic situation of his or her family nucleus in order to evaluate in advance the potential access to subsidized social services”.
The initiative was born "to respond to the needs expressed by citizens and institutional subjects" interested in the use of Isee 2017 as a "parameter for measuring the economic situation of families - continues INPS - and offers citizens the possibility of having, in real time, an indicator that simulates the 2017 Isee value in the absence of the presentation of the Dsu".

Those who don't just want to get an idea but want to calculate their official 2017 Isee must follow a more complex procedure. "While the simulator is based exclusively on the income and assets information entered by the user - explains the Social Security Institute - the ISEE 2017 certification is calculated on the income and assets data verified by INPS and the Revenue Agency ”.
As mentioned, to obtain the official Isee 2017 value, you need to present the single self-declaration (Dsu), a document that contains the personal data, income and assets of the family unit. Some of these data are self-declared by the taxpayer, while others are acquired by INPS and the Revenue Agency.
HOW TO SUBMIT THE DSU
To obtain the calculation of the standard ISEE, which is valid for all subsidized social services, it is necessary to fill in the Dsu Mini, which contains only the main values. The declaration is valid from the moment of presentation to 15 January of the following year, can be used by all members of the family unit and can be presented at any time of the year to one of the following entities:
– the entity that provides the subsidized social benefit;
- the common;
– a Tax Assistance Center (Caf);
– INPS: in this case, emails must be sent electronically, using the self-service computer workstations present at the INPS offices or by connecting to the website www.inps.it, in the "On-Line Services - Services for the citizen".
HOW TO RECEIVE THE OFFICIAL ISEE 2017
INPS supplies the ISEE 2017 within 10 working days of receiving the Dsu. It can be received by accessing the services area of the web portal (in this case the device PIN is needed), certified e-mail, competent territorial offices or, with a written mandate from the declarant, through the same body to which the declaration was presented.
