Isa Mazzocchi, chef of the one-Michelin-starred La Palta restaurant in Località Bilegno in Borgonovo Valtidone (PC), is the winner of the sixth edition of the Atelier des Grandes Dames, a network that aims to celebrate female talent in the high catering wanted by Veuve Clicquot and for this he received the Michelin Chef Donna 2021 award.
The inspectors of the red guide particularly appreciated “its very strong bond with its territory, which it promotes through its dishes to bring out its peculiarities. The kitchen, in which she invests all her energies, tenacity and continuous learning, allows her to range between the past, present and future, to bring the guest into a dimension of timeless experience, made of tradition and innovation" .

The restaurant that won its first Michelin star in 2012, and which has always confirmed it since then, takes its name from what, in Piacenza dialect, was the town's tobacco shop and which once operated right in the premises of the current restaurant.
Isa Mazzocchi is one of the 42 female chefs in charge of starred restaurants in Italy, a real record for our country since starred women. Worldwide there are only 197.
The special Michelin Chef Donna 2021 by Veuve Clicquot award is one of the prizes awarded by Michelin at the presentation of the 66th edition of the Michelin Italy Guide, last November, in recognition of the stories of successful Italians who contribute to the excellence of the cultural heritage of our nation: the 2021 MICHELIN Young Chef award was assigned to Antonio Ziantoni, Zia1 star, Rome, The 2021 MICHELIN Chef Mentor award was assigned to Niko Romito, Reale3 stars, Castel di Sangro (AQ), the MICHELIN award Service Room 2021, was awarded to Christian Rainer, Peter Brunel Gourmet Restaurant 1 star, Arco (TN), the MICHELIN Sommelier 2021 award, was awarded to Matteo Circella, La Brincabib, Ne (GE).
Before Isa Mazzocchi, the Michelin Female Chef of the Year award went to Marianna Vitale, Martina Caruso, Caterina Ceraudo and Fabriza Meroi.
