Double assault on the British embassy in Tehran. In the afternoon, dozens of protesters broke into the building, substituting the Iranian flag for the British one and setting fire to some diplomatic documents. It is their intention to continue the occupation until the London ambassador leaves the country.
After the second charge there were clashes between the police forces and the rioters. In the British-owned Qolhak park, protesters took at least six embassy employees hostage, who were soon released by the police.
