Ipo Poste: the decree revises advantages for small savers

Poste Italiane's IPO will have to provide a preferential lane for small savers. This is provided for by the decree which defines the criteria for the privatization of the group, which should shortly arrive today in the Council of Ministers for definitive approval.

The first go-ahead, writes MF, arrived on 24 January (with the Letta government) and now, after the non-binding but mandatory opinions of the Chamber and Senate, the provision will return to the CDM.

To accommodate one of the suggestions made by Parliament, the new version of the decree, otherwise practically identical to the previous one, introduces a fourth paragraph to the single article making up the provision.

An addition intended precisely to specify that the IPO must provide particular advantages for retail investors, postal current account holders and others, as requested by the Senate Public Works Commission.
