Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), launches i new models di iPhone 14 e Watch Apple. During the presentation event of the new models, Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), published a press release through which it revealed that it will make its service available on iPhones updated to the latest operating system starting September 12, coinciding with the iOS16 release. Initially it will be launched in 21 countries, including Italy, then it will subsequently be extended to the remaining ones as well.

iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus
iPhone 14 and its Plus version are products more similar to its predecessors, but boast a new front camera with autofocus, enhanced battery, action mode for recording videos on the go and emergency SOS via satellite (for now it's only active in the USA and Canada, but coming soon to other countries). The oled displays are from 6.1 and 6.7 inches with 1200 nits brightness, Dolby Vision and Xdr. The colors are midnight, starlight, blu, purple e red. The two models have a new cooling system inside that maximizes processor performance, which remains that of last year: A15 Bionic. However, the camera that has gained the most is the front one: 12 megapixels from 1.9 microns, capable of capturing 38% more light and for the first time with autofocus.
Models for the American market will no longer have the physical SIM, only eSIM. Apple is betting a lot on eSIM, the virtual SIM card that will replace the current ones in a few years. Today you can register different eSIMs on the iPhone in the USA and switch from one operator to another instantly.

iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max: features and prices

Even for the top-of-the-range models, Apple has activated the satellite connection useful for sending and receiving emergency messages, pointing the phone to the nearest satellite as suggested by iOS.
There is support for the always-on display, which allows you to view information at a glance on the screen, even when the iPhone is off, thanks to a display with a reduced refresh rate: from 10 Hz today to 1 Hz, as on the Apple Watch and which helps preserve the battery life.
iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro come in four colors: deep purple, gold, silver and space black. Prices: iPhone 14 Pro starts at 1339 euros, while 14 Pro Max from 1489 euros to get to well 2139 euros for the 1 TB version.
Apple Watch 8: features and prices

Apple Watch Ultra: features and prices

Not only the new iPhone 14 and Apple Watch models: the AirPods Pro 2 are coming
The Cupertino company has also announced the AirPods Pro 2, featuring longer battery life, “adaptive transparency” to reduce external noises, such as construction noises, while still passing ambient sound through noise cancellation, and new technology scanning the user's ears to customize 3D audio.
