While the battle for Club Med gets complicated, Investindustrial, a company led by Andrea Bonomi, has signed an agreement to become the majority shareholder of Flos through the subsidiary Padme. The current shareholders, the Gandini family (controlling shareholder) and the Rodriquez family, who will be joined by Federico Martínez Weber, CEO of Antares Iluminación SA (Flos Architectural), will remain significant shareholders of Flos, sharing the strategic and financial decisions.
Flos is a luxury brand active in the lighting sector. Investindustrial will support the further industrial development and global expansion of Flos, both through a process of organic growth and through targeted acquisitions.
Piero Gandini, major shareholder, entrepreneur and CEO, who has successfully led the company's international expansion over the past 20 years, will retain his position as Chief Executive Officer of the Group. The top management, Federico Martínez Weber and Manuel Perani, will maintain their current positions, respectively of Chief Executive Officer of Flos Architectural and Executive Vice President Operations and Finance of Flos, and will also join the Group's Board of Directors.
