The bank of the Cabel group launches the new digital asset management platform, presented yesterday in the Milan office – For management, Invest uses a quantitative risk management system, called Life Style Investment Solutions, designed to optimize the portfolio between risk and risk-free – Initial investment with 15 thousand euros.

Invest Banca, the investment bank of the independent Cabel di Empoli group, has launched Ib Evolution, a digital asset management platform, presented at Cabel's Milan office. Invest Banca's new portfolio management range was designed for sophisticated customers looking for a high-quality investment service in terms of professionalism, security and independence. In particular, Ib Evolution offers two investment lines: a more prudent one - Low Risk - and a medium risk one - Mid Risk - which are characterized by an active management associated with a qualitative risk management system, through the redefinition of the risk exposure every three months. For the construction of the portfolio, Invest Banca selects the products present on the market among shares, bonds, funds and Etp which allow to apply the strategies elaborated by its investment committees.

For these managements, Invest Bank uses a quantitative risk management system, called Life Style Investment Solutions, designed to optimize the portfolio between the risky component and the risk-free component. The system intends to take advantage of market downturns to acquire more volatile securities to resell when the market recovers, capitalizing the return and shifting it towards less risky securities. The goal is to reduce exposure to the riskiest asset classes over time, placing assets in a safe. “Ib Evolution – he explained Stephen Sardelli, managing director of the bank – is an innovative investment service which gives the possibility to any saver, even distant from the traditional channels of the distributors of our products, to open an asset management company. We thus aim to transfer the quality that has always distinguished our products and services to the web. For access to the service we have deliberately limited the customer's initial investment, with a minimum of 15.000 euros, to make a qualified service available also to those looking for investment alternatives to online deposit accounts”.

“To understand our work it is first of all necessary to understand the demographics, therefore with Ib Evolution we want to be a social media bank”. So Sardelli presented the idea behind the project during a conference in Milan, explaining that “the target clientele will be those between 30 and 45 years old. These are subjects accustomed to technology who, however, need a practical tool to approach the banking world. We often hear of young people who have never entered the bank: therefore we need to change to keep up with the times". “It is necessary – underlined the top manager – to think differently. The new customers, the so-called generations X and Y, in fact have different lifestyles, education and spending methods than the previous generation, that of the 'boomers'. The latter's wealth is changing hands, precisely for demographic reasons, and this is precisely the reason to attack it”.

“For these reasons – added Sardelli – we launched Ib Evolution. It's about a online asset management platform designed and managed in partnership with Cabel, for the information system, Var Group, for the internet interface, Cisco, for video conferences and In.Te.Sa. IBM as Certification Authority. In particular, the innovative point of the project is precisely in the digital signature that we provide to the customer and the possibility of performing all the procedures directly from a mobile phone. In fact, there is also a video conference service which gives the impression of being at the bank without actually ever having moved from home. Unlike others”, Sardelli specified, “the procedure is not carried out through the exchange of paper with the post but entirely in digital format”.

The project was built in parallel with Investment Runner, a digital multi-channel consultancy platform, founded by Caironi Corrado, R&Ca strategist, and conveyed through Invest Banca. This new tool, the founder explained during the conference, “is a way to rethink consultancy in a world – the financial one – which thrives on a total and perpetual need for connection. The union with Ib Evolution makes it possible to offer customers both pre-packaged solutions and tailor-made solutions”. Investment Runner offers, in a completely digital form, a dedicated management, offering a tailored answer of individual needs because it bases its offer on an initial test aimed at making customers aware of their goals.
