As required by the Antitrust to give the go-ahead for the merger with Ubi, Intesa has signed a supplementary agreement with Bper – 486 branches and 146 operating points change ownership, for a total of 5.107 employees

Intesa Sanpaolo signed an agreement on Thursday that includes the transfer to Bper Banca of a group of branches of the group that will arise from the merger with Ubi Banca. the operation, requested by the Antitrust to give the green light to the marriage between Intesa and Ubi, it will also involve the employees of the branches in question and their relations with customers. Intesa Sanpaolo announced it in a note.

The new Intesa-Bper agreement - supplementing the original one, the terms of which were more generic - completes the identification of the branches and identifies in detail the workers included in the company branch destined to change ownership.

“The perimeter of the branch – reads the note – includes 486 branches equipped with accounting autonomy and legal relationships with customers (7 more than previously agreed) and 134 operating points (such as, for example, branches) functional to the commercial supervision of branch customers, without accounting autonomy".

There are a total of 5.107 employees included in the branch and "refer mainly to the network of branches and operating points and to the Private and Corporate business areas - concludes the note - to which are added those relating to the governance areas of semi-center in support of the regional and territorial coordination offices of the branch network and of center for the strengthening of central, control and IT functions”.
