Intesa Sanpaolo Vita strengthens its Health business by acquiring 50%+1 share of the capital of Rbm Assicurazione Salute from RbHold for 325 million

Intesa Sanpaolo Vita acquires Rbm Ass. Salute

Intesa Sanpaolo Vita took control of Rbm Assicurazione Salute, purchasing from the RBHold Group of the Favaretto family, 50% +1 share for a countervalue of 325 million euro.

The company plans to increase its stake, reaching up to 100% of the capital. The increase, according to the provisions of the plan, will come gradually, from 2026 to 2029 and the price will be determined on the basis of the achievement of pre-established growth objectives, according to a mixed balance sheet and income formula.

With this acquisition Intesa Sanpaolo Vita strengthens its Health business. At the top of the new company, which will take the name of "Intesa Sanpaolo RBM Salute" 3, the CEO and general manager Marco Vecchietti has been confirmed. 

“Intesa Sanpaolo RBM Salute – reads a note from the company – will target both the traditional customers of RBM Assicurazione Salute (health funds, companies and public bodies), and the retail and corporate customers of Intesa Sanpaolo”.
