Intesa Sanpaolo, off to the third edition of winning companies

Intesa Sanpaolo, off to the third edition of winning companies

The third edition of "Imprese Vincenti", the Intesa Sanpaolo program for the enhancement of small and medium-sized Italian enterprises launched in 2019 and which has so far accompanied 264 companies 'winners' in growth and development paths. Almost 6.000 Italian SMEs have applied for themselves in the previous selections of Imprese Vincenti. The success achieved so far by the initiative – both in terms of participation and activities started with project partners – is the best confirmation of the will of many companies to undertake valorisation paths despite a particularly complex and uncertain context.

Intesa Sanpaolo is therefore launching the new edition of Imprese Vincenti with the aim of grasping and developing the signals still present in the Italian business landscape: several elements converge in considering 2021 as the year of companies which - despite the pandemic - continue to invest, to focus on levers such as quality and sustainability, to respond to the crisis with profound transformation initiatives by adapting to market demand and maintaining employment, so as to represent a stimulus for the relaunch of the Italian economy.

Companies emerge - explains the bank in a note - in which the constancy and foresight of entrepreneurs and people balance the impact of the crisis, maintaining those elements of excellence also recognized abroad and still today the key to the success of Made in Italy on the market. With Winning Companies 2021 Intesa Sanpaolo therefore aims at support this heritage of the productive fabric offering, together with the project Partners, tools for growth and visibility in line with the impulses to relaunch the country's economy and in line with the 'Motore Italia' plan, the Group's new strategic program which makes 50 billion available for the revitalization of SMEs.

“Thanks to Imprese Vincenti – he commented Stefano Barrese, Head of Banca dei Territori Intesa Sanpaolo – we made it clear how many companies create their own success with intelligence, planning and commitment, generating value for themselves and for the economy. This commitment has not failed, despite the pandemic, but it needs to be supported with all possible tools, because Italian SMEs truly constitute the wealth of this country in terms not only of production but also of knowledge, skills, creativity, attachment to local values. The third edition of Imprese Vincenti - continues Barrese - looks precisely at these realities, capable of flexibility and of working over long-term horizons, and is part of a broader context of initiatives that Intesa Sanpaolo is carrying out in favor of the business world and for the revitalization of the Italian economy, with 50 billion of credit available to all SMEs”.
