Agreement between Intesa Sanpaolo and the trade unions to harmonize the economic and regulatory treatment of all personnel following the integration of Ubi Banca

Intesa Sanpaolo-Ubi, there is an agreement with the unions

It also comes in the process of integrating Ubi Banca into the Intesa Sanpaolo Group the expected agreement with the unions. The agreement defines the process of harmonizing the economic/regulatory treatments relating to all personnel of the new Intesa Sanpaolo Group as part of a program that identifies the phases and matters that will be discussed from time to time, also considering the next deadline of the second-level negotiation scheduled for 31 December 2021.

In particular, the introduction of new provisions for all Group personnel on the subject of:
• meal voucher for part-time staff who do not take the midday break, starting from 1 July 2021;
• extension from 2021 of the possibility of using the Time Bank and the Voluntary Suspension of Work Activities envisaged by the second-level contract;
• from 12 April 2021 doubling of permits for the birth of a child, with elimination of the maximum cost limit borne by the Group for parental leave taken by fathers and introduction of new permits for accompanying children and/or spouse/partner to the emergency room civilly/de facto cohabitant;
• increase to 5.000 euros of the amount envisaged for family members with severe disabilities.

Furthermore to former UBI personnel the Intesa Sanpaolo regulations regarding Roles and Professional Figures and Professional Development Paths set out in the agreements of 3 August 2018 and 21 July 2020 are applied, with effect from 1 January 2021 in the event that there is continuity of the role held on the basis than indicated in the agreement, and protections are envisaged for Intesa Sanpaolo personnel who are assigned to former UBI branches or to the new Agribusiness commercial territory, with a reduction of 4 months in the consolidation periods in progress as at 12 April 2021.

It was also introduced, always with effect from 12 April 2021, a "youth package" aimed at those who, at the time of recruitment at Intesa Sanpaolo in the context of professional areas, are under 30 years of age so that:

• in the first 5 years from hiring, the employer's contribution to the supplementary pension is recognized in an amount equal to 6% of the salary items, seniority increments, and the amount pursuant to the table restructuring, (after this period the minimum rate will be applied to the supplementary pension by time expected for Group Employees today equal to 3,50%
• within 10 years of hiring, a "home bonus" is paid in the case of purchase of the first house of residence in the amount of 1 euros and a "child birth bonus" in the amount of 1.750 euros for each child.

For former UBI Group personnel, the remaining second-level bargaining provisions not regulated in the agreement will also be maintained until the end of the year. The Intesa Sanpaolo Group's facilitated conditions for new requests/concessions will apply immediately, while the current limits for credit openings due to home flexibility will be maintained until the end of 2021.
