Intesa Sanpaolo promotes Italian excellence in Paris: over 800 meetings for 50 companies

The third edition of “Italian Excellences, Mid Corporate Conference"of Understanding St. Paul, an event that has seen significant growth in participation and investor interest. Well 50 Italian listed companies had the opportunity to meet over 110 institutional investors, resulting in more than 830 meetings.

Promoted by Imi Corporate & Investment Banking Division, led by Mauro Micillo, the initiative was organized in collaboration with the ResearchDepartment directed by Gregorio De Felice. Born three years ago, the conference has as its main objective to offer small and medium-sized Italian companies the opportunity to present their results and future prospects to international investors.

This event is part of the Business plan 2022-2025 of Intesa Sanpaolo, presented by CEO Carlo Messina, which provides for constant support to the corporate world and an enhancement of consultancy activities for the development and internationalization of companies.

Objectives and results of the initiative

Most of the Investors present was of origin French, but the event also saw significant representation from Spain, Switzerland and England. For the first time, American institutions were also involved, thus highlighting how Italian SMEs are attracting more and more attention at a global level.

The conference saw the synergy between the Equity Research and Corporate Broking Research structures of Intesa Sanpaolo and the Equity Sales area of ​​Global Markets Sales & Platform of the Imi Cib Division. Organized in partnership with Borsa Italiana, part of the Euronext Group, the initiative included one-to-one and group meetings between investors and companies listed in the various segments of Euronext.
