Intesa Sanpaolo Private banking: placed the Ailis fund for 1,104 billion euro

Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking has placed the fund Ailis M&G Collection – the new sub-fund of Ailis, a Luxembourg Sicav managed by Fideuram Asset Management Ireland – with management delegation to M&G Investments.

It is a solution that looks at customers with a medium-long term investment objective and a low propensity for risk. The objective of the sub-fund is to generate positive total returns through a combination of income and capital growth, over an investment horizon of 5 years, by taking advantage of the active management of the underlying funds and without being associated with a
reference benchmarks.

The sub-fund's portfolio is diversified across various asset classes and consists of a selection of M&G's best investment strategies which invest flexibly across multiple asset classes and are characterized by a consolidated track record.

The sub-fund also includes a class with income distribution, deriving from the coupon flow of the underlyings. After the 5-year term (2023) there will be a progressive investment aimed at consolidating the performance achieved.

The total amount of the placement was equal to 1.104 billion euros, with almost fifteen thousand subscribers. The average amount subscribed daily was 29.8 million euro. The average amount for each individual subscription was 75.800 euros (minimum initial payment 5.000 euros).

Saverio Perissinotto, General Manager of Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking, commented: “This fund of funds offers our customers the possibility of being able to count on a dynamic asset allocation between funds managed by M&G, which have a long track record and are known both by our customers , and by our consultants. This is a first initiative which will be followed by others aimed at responding to the need of customers to be able to rely on a diversified and dynamic asset allocation. As far as the increased volatility of the markets is concerned, it is the private banker's duty to always accompany customers even in the most turbulent phases of the markets, because volatility in fact creates good entry opportunities and this is the case of the new fund of funds , which starts investing in March and will be able to count on entry level into the most interesting stock markets”.
