Intesa Sanpaolo stands out for its relations with financial analysts and institutional investors, in the context of asset management activities, social, environmental and corporate governance criteria (the so-called ESG criteria, Environmental, Social and Governance), but also for the quality of service offered and for the best financial disclosure among the Italian Large Caps of all product sectors. These are the awards assigned to the Group led by Carlo Messina by the Italian Association Investor Relations and the specialized research company Institutional Investors.
In detail, the Group won first prize in the following categories: Best IR in ESG for a Large Cap company, Best IR in Services and Communication for a Large Cap company, Best IR in Financial Disclosure for a Large Cap company. Furthermore, Marcus Delphrates, Executive Director Co-Head of the Central Financial Market Coverage Department of Intesa Sanpaolo, was ranked first in the ranking of Investor Relations Officer in Italy.
The awards given are based on the results of the 2021 Institutional Investor Survey of approximately 600 institutional investors and financial analysts. While the awards were presented during the Italian Investor Relations Awards 2021, event organized by the Italian Investor Relations Association.
