Intesa Sanpaolo, Prestitalia: Boselli new president

Mario Boselli is the new president of Prestitalia, the financial company of the Intesa Sanpaolo group. The company's Board of Directors met for the first time under the new leadership on Wednesday. Prestitalia made it known in a note, recalling that Boselli - appointed last December 22nd - replaced Gian Cesare Toffetti as president.

To date, Boselli also chairs Banca 5 (always of the Intesa Sanpaolo group), the Italo-Chinese Institute and the Italy-China Foundation. Furthermore, he sits on the boards of directors of companies and associations such as Intesa Sanpaolo For Value, Premiere Vision – Paris, Reit Sasseur-Singapore, Schmid, M. Seventy White and Chorsutyle. Furthermore, Boselli presided over the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana from 1999 to 2015 and is currently its Honorary President. He was awarded the honor of Cavaliere del Lavoro by the President of the Republic in 1990 and Commandeur de l'Ordre National de la Légion D'Honneur by the President of the French Republic in 2002.

The Prestitalia Board of Directors then co-opted Andrew Lecce, who holds the position of sales & marketing manager for individuals and retail companies, Banca dei Territori Intesa Sanpaolo division.

Prestitalia is a financial company specializing in salary and pension-backed loans and in delegation of payments. It was previously controlled by Ubi Banca, which in turn was acquired by Intesa Sanpaolo last summer. Prestitalia is today one of the main Italian companies on the sales market with approximately 2 billion euro of stock and approximately 750 million of capital disbursed during the year 2020.
