Today, the 7th edition of the ROME AWARD to the development of the country. As per tradition, the winners best represent our country, in sectors ranging from the economy to social and cultural sectors.

Al Chairman of Intesa Sanpaolo, Gian Maria Gros-Pietro, the Rome Lifetime Achievement Award was conferred.

Extraordinary ability as an economist and expert in management

Among motivations for which it was assigned to Gros-Pietro we read: “extraordinary ability as an economist and expert in management, which allowed him to guide companies, public and private, and banks, leading them to advanced claims. Professor in business economics and lecturer at prestigious universities, has developed intense and profitable relationships with leading research centers and trade associations, putting its experience in the service of the company. His position, today, at the top of the most important banking institution is a guarantee of effective orientation of the system in favor of the family and businesses".

What is the Rome Prize

The Rome Prize was born with the idea of stimulate an activism of the Capitoline administration and of the living forces of the city to seize the opportunities offered by the PNRR, and by the Jubilee, urging them to have ambitions and visions in view of Expo 2030.
