Round of appointments in the Intesa Sanpaolo group, in this case in wealth management companies: the Board of Pramerica SGR, chaired by Saverio Perissinotto (head of the Group's Asset Management Division), has designated Massimo Mazzini as the new managing director, while the Board of Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking has chosen Andrea Ghidoni as general manager of the company. Both decisions, a note explains, were taken "with a view to enhancing internal resources and ensuring continuity of management activity".
Massimo Mazzini takes office on Thursday 21 January 2021: the manager has been part of the Intesa Sanpaolo group since 2007, over the years assuming managerial positions in the Asset Management Division and at the same time coordinating Eurizon's international expansion strategies. Currently he is also Chairman of Eurizon Capital Asia, Eurizon's Hong Kong subsidiary, and board member of Penghua, one of the main Chinese asset managers in which Eurizon holds 49%. Mazzini also maintains the role of Marketing and Commercial Development Manager in Eurizon.

Andrea Ghidoni instead has been CEO and general manager of Pramerica SGR since 2015, after having covered managerial roles in UBI Banca, as Head of the Group Organization Area and Head of Management Development. He previously worked in strategic consultancy for the main Italian banking groups in Bain & Company, after starting his career as a chartered accountant.
