Charles Messina is for the fifth consecutive year the best CEO of European banks and Intesa Sanpaolo "confirmed itself first in Europe for relations with institutional investors and financial analysts and for ESG aspects". This is what emerges from the 2022 ranking drawn up by the specialized research company Institutional Investor.
“The prestigious awards received again this year, on the basis of which we are at the top of Europe, reflect the continuous commitment to improve – said Messina – the quality of our relationship with the market and our sensitivity towards ESG issues. We are particularly proud to see the appreciation of investors confirmed in the year of presentation of our 2022-2025 Business Plan, an appreciation aimed at the Bank's industrial projects together with our ability to achieve significant objectives in a very challenging context", he concluded the CEO
Intesa Sanpaolo is full of awards
A survey of 1.400 investors and analysts conducted by Institutional Investor has once again awarded the management of Intesa Sanpaolo:
- Charles Messina, Managing Director and CEO of the Group, is the best Chief Executive Officer for the fifth year since the introduction, seven years ago, of the ranking that takes into account both the votes of institutional investors and financial analysts;
- Stephen Del Punta was the best Chief Financial Officer for the sixth year;
- il Board of Directors of Intesa Sanpaolo ranked first among European banks in the relevant ranking, introduced for the first time this year;
Intesa Sanpaolo's leadership in the area of sustainability has also been rewarded by the financial community: al first place for ESG aspects in European banks for the third year.
Additionally, the Survey recognized the Investor Relations team with multiple awards for quality investor relations:
- first prize in the categories Grand Prix – Best Overall Company in Investor Relations;
- Marcus Delphrates best Investor Relations Professional for the fifth year;
- best Investor Relations team (fifth year);
- Best Company in Investor Relations – Financial Institutions;
- first bank among Most Honored Companies.
