Intesa Sanpaolo launches tobacco withdrawals

Important news for Intesa Sanpaolo customers who will be able to take advantage of a new service made available by the bank which will also allow withdrawals from tobacconists.

As Intesa Sanpaolo explains, customers in possession of Maestro, MasterCard, Visa or Visa Electron debit cards will be able to withdraw money, up to 150 euros per day, from tobacconists affiliated with Banca5, the group's local bank, focused on ' instant banking.

“Cash withdrawal operations – explains Intesa Sanpaolo – can be carried out at over 15.000 affiliated points which will display a special window sticker and the list of which will be available on the Banca5 and Intesa Sanpaolo App and website”.

There are some rules to follow in order to be able to withdraw from the tobacconist's. In detail, in addition to using the debit card and the PIN as usual, the holders will have to show the national health card to allow the electronic reading of the tax code. Withdrawal operations will be free until 31 December 2019.
