Intesa Sanpaolo incorporates Banca Prossima

Intesa Sanpaolo announces the merger by incorporation with the subsidiary Banca Prossima. This was announced in a press release released on 18 April: "We inform you that, on 18 April 2019, it was made available to the public at the Company's registered office as well as in the authorized storage mechanism eMarket Storage and on the website group.internosanpaolo.com the minutes of the Company's Board of Directors, held on 16 April 2019, which approved - pursuant to art. 2505, paragraph 2, of the Italian Civil Code, as permitted by art. 18.2.2. lit. m) of the Articles of Association - the merger by incorporation of Banca Prossima SpA into Intesa Sanpaolo SpA. On 18 April 2019, the registration of the aforementioned minutes with the Turin Company Register was also requested”, reads the note. Today Intesa Sanpaolo, on a sluggish day for the markets before the Easter break, lost 0,2% in Piazza Affari in the mid-afternoon, in line with the performance of the Ftse Mib.
