The bank is now among the top ten in the syndicated lending sector, with projects worth 27 billion euros and corporate bond placements worth 6,7 billion.

Understanding St. Paul, through the Imi Corporate & Investment Banking division led by Mauro Micillo, is strengthening its presence in the Spanish market. This expansion is highlighted by the bank's positioning among the top 10 in the syndicated loans sector in Spain in 2024.

Over the past two years, the division has participated in 13 strategic projects of international relevance in the field ofthe energy and infrastructure, with a total value of approximately 27 billion euros. Among the most important operations, the collaboration with the Enel group and Masdar for the development of photovoltaic plants in Spain stands out, in addition to the participation in the financing of 6,6 billion euros for the joint venture between Orange and MasMovil.

Furthermore, the Imi Cib division has recently collaborated in the placement of four corporate bonds for CriteriaCaixa, Iberdrola, Naturgy and Santander, reaching a total of 6,7 billion euros.

The Madrid branch represents one of the main European offices within the corporate network of the International Network of the Imi Cib division, which operates in 24 countries.
