Intesa Sanpaolo and Panini: agreement on young people

over 84.000 new under 18 accounts opened and tens of thousands of participants in the Panini Tour Up! 2018, agreement also confirmed for 2019

Intesa Sanpaolo and Panini renew the collaboration begun last year aimed at putting young people at the centre. During the event held today, 18 October, at the Milan Piazza Cordusio branch, some of the results obtained thanks to this partnership were presented, through which the bank seeks to convey its products reserved for the youngest. In detail, over 84.000 new under 18 accounts were opened and tens of thousands of participants in the Panini Tour Up! 2018, of which 6.000 at events promoted in bank branches. Last year's success led Intesa and Panini to confirm the initiative for this year as well: in 2019 the 2018-2019 Calciatori Album and a box with 500 stickers will still be free with every XME Conto UP!. The account is free of costs, including stamp duty, and recognizes a 1% bonus on stocks which will be credited upon turning of age. The card for withdrawals and payments in Italy and abroad is also free. Most of the services can be accessed digitally and autonomously, but always with remote parental control. Furthermore, the initiative is tinged with pink with stickers from the women's Serie A, the national team and the under-21 national team. As for the Panini Tour Up! 2019 will start on February 23 with the launch of the Calciatori 2018-2019 collection. Overall, the initiative will follow three routes, touching over 30 cities from north to south for a total of 36 stages and 48 event days. The collaboration with Panini is not the only project launched by the bank directed by Carlo Messina for young people. Others include: the Honor Loan for the University, the Microcredit in support of youth businesses; the Mutuo Giovani which also allows workers access to increasing protection and has reached 7,5 billion disbursements in two years. “Intesa Sanpaolo is no longer the bank that young Italians have inherited from parents and grandparents who have been affectionate and loyal customers for generations, underlined Andrea Lecce, Head of Sales & Marketing for Individuals and Retail Enterprises of Intesa Sanpaolo. “Intesa Sanpaolo is becoming the bank that 2,3 million young people have chosen autonomously because it offers the best conditions for accounts and mortgages, the most complete school-to-work programs, honor loans to finance studies, support to start a startup and, last but not least, the funniest partnerships, like the one we're renewing today with the Panini group".
