Intesa Sanpaolo down: app problems "completely resolved", pensions and salaries credited

“The problems that occurred during the day today, relating to the functionality of the Intesa Sanpaolo App, “were completely solved, therefore all the methods of access to the bank's services have returned to full normality". This was announced by Intesa Sanpaolo through a note.

“All pensions have been credited to the bank's current accounts and accounted for with the date of today, December 2nd,” the institute announced after the partial block that affected the app, also confirming, “that no problems have arisen regarding the crediting of salaries".

What happened

Yesterday, Monday 2nd December, a malfunction made Internet banking inaccessible or with blocked operation since the early hours of the morning. Over 7 thousand reports have arrived on Downdetector and the problem has also affected Isybank services, also part of the Intesa Sanpaolo group. The bank confirmed that it was a "systemic problem", probably linked to a technical issue, and reassured: there was no attacco informatico.

After the digital payment systems went haywire in Italy last week and which started from Worldline, coinciding with Black Friday, this time the Intesa Sanpaolo App went down. The problem was solved in the evening, with all the ways of accessing the bank's services returning to full normality.
