French bank Crédit Agricole dropped to 1,935% stake in Intesa Sanpaolo. This is what emerges from the communications to Consob on significant shareholdings: the operation took place on 24 August last. The transalpine group held 4,996% since 27 July 2010, based on Consob data, but had already reduced its share compared to that level.
Crédit Agricole therefore formalized Intesa Sanpaolo's drop below the 2% threshold last Tuesday, on the occasion of the presentation of the half-year results, without however indicating the exact amount of the current quota.
