The new four-year senior bond launched this morning by Intesa Sanpaolo was enthusiastically received by investors. There were approximately 300 individual institutional subscribers and they produced orders up to 3,3 billion euros. However, the Bank has decided to place only 1,25 billion securities, preferring to limit the yield as much as possible, which was in line with the market.
The new bond will therefore offer a rate equal to 345 basis points above the midswap rate, revised from the initial hypothesis of "area 355 basis points". The institutions leading the operation are Banca IMI, BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse, JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley.
Today, the Intesa Sanpaolo stock leaves 0,74% on the field in Piazza Affari.
