The Italian Bank of the year is Intesa Sanpaolo, at least according to the ranking by the London economic-financial monthly "The Banker".

But it's not over. The group was also awarded as “Bank of the Year in Serbia“, “in Bosnia and Herzegovina” and “in Croatia“, respectively for the activities of the subsidiaries Intesa Beograd, Intesa Sanpaolo Banka Bosnia i Hercegovina and Pbz. The evaluation criteria were the solidity of the performance in terms of economic, equity and liquidity results.
“These acknowledgments – concluded Beltratti – only reinforce our belief that we have managed to build a winning model, which is well suited to the different realities in which we operate.”
