Da Intesa Sanpaolo support of 10 million euros for the new environmental sustainability projects of the Molteni Group, a historic company in Giussano operating in the furniture sector. The financing is made use of Sace's Green Guarantee and is part of the 1 billion euro funding granted by CDP to facilitate credit to SMEs and Mid Caps, corresponding to the implementation of the "Green revolution and ecological transition" mission of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
Specifically, the operation is intended for projects of energy efficiency of the company as well as for the digital transition with the adaptation of the production system with 4.0 technology, strategic growth drivers, allowing the Molteni Group to pursue ESG objectives related to the reduction of its environmental impact and the mitigation and prevention of climate change.
For the "Sistema Casa", Intesa Sanpaolo has reserved a ceiling of 1 billion euro for credit lines for the green and digital transition of Italian companies, in line with the guidelines of the Pnrr.
By 2026, the group led by Carlo Messina is planning medium-long term disbursements of over 410 billion euros, of which 120 billion for SMEs, with which to actively contribute to economic recovery of the country in close correlation with the objectives of the Pnrr approved by the European Commission.
