Intesa Sanpaolo: agreement on productivity bonus for employees

During the night an agreement was reached between the unions of the Intesa Sanpaolo group and the Bank's delegation for the payment of the 2011 productivity bonus. The agreement provides for the payment of the bonus in an envelope or, at the employee's choice, the payment of a 'Social Bonus' which can be used to reimburse costs incurred for children (such as school fees or summer camps) or coverage of payments to health care or supplementary pension funds.

The negotiation, started with the company that did not recognize the conditions for the award of the prize, closed with the payment of an amount of 1.500 euros for the average job placement, a decrease of 13% compared to last year, a reduction which is limited to 4% in the case of choosing the Social Bonus, worth 1.650 euros in due to the lower social security charges borne by the employer.
