There is no news on the Generali dossier and there have been no meetings, nor are they planned, between the top management of Intesa and those of the insurance company. This was stated by the president of Intesa SanPaolo, Gian Maria Gros-Pietro.
“I haven't had any meetings and I don't have any on the agenda with the top management of Generali”, said Gros-Pietro, questioned on the matter on the sidelines of a conference.
The president of Intesa then replied negatively to reporters who asked him if there was any news in general regarding the Generali dossier or the timing of a possible decision by the board of directors regarding the interest in the company, the subject of a 'case study ' by the bank for an integration.
