Nicola Maria Fioravanti is the new CEO of Intesa Sanpaolo Vita and from 2015 July XNUMX he will assume responsibility for the group's insurance division which aims to strengthen itself also with possible partnerships with leading international insurance companies.

This was stated in a note from Intesa Sanpaolo announcing, in line with the provisions of the business plan presented last spring, the birth of the three divisions of private banking, asset management and insurance and the introduction of the of the chief innovation officer.

As regards private banking, which sees 5.700 private bankers and 164 billion euro of assets under management at the end of 2013, Paolo Molesini will assume responsibility for the division from 1 July 2015, taking over from Matteo Colafrancesco who will maintain a top corporate position in the area.

Responsibility for asset management is instead entrusted to Tommaso Corcos. The division brings together Eurizon Capital and Fideuram Asset Management Ireland with over €220 billion of assets under management at the end of 2013, ranking third in the euro area.
Finally, as regards the insurance division, which sees over 20 billion in gross premiums in Italy, Antonio Nucci, who will assume responsibility for it starting from 11 November, will maintain, after Fioravanti's takeover, "a top corporate position " in the group.

Maurizio Montagnese, former head of the innovation center, assumes the role of chief innovation officer with the aim of "identifying, analyzing and developing innovation activities, nationally and internationally, ensuring their coordination and consistency at the level of group.
