Intesa and Azimut enter into a commercial alliance

The service will allow Azimut capital management to offer its customers a full digital order reception and transmission service using Banca IMI as a trading intermediary.

Intesa Sanpaolo and the Azimut group launch a commercial partnership that makes use of the banking group's integrated offer of execution and post trading.

The Intesa Sanpaolo project is the result of the collaboration between market hub, Banca IMI's brokerage platform, and the global transaction banking department of the CIB division.

The service will allow Azimut capital management to offer its customers a full digital order reception and transmission service using Banca IMI as a trading intermediary.

“The internal coordination of the structures of the Global Transaction Banking Department and of the Market Hub resources allows us to offer the market a complete, integrated and highly competitive offer in the logic of full services. The appreciation of a leading market operator such as Azimut CM bears witness to the quality of the service offered”, comments Mauro Micillo, head of corporate & investment banking at Intesa Sanpaolo and CEO of Banca Imi.

“Being able to count on Banca IMI's expertise as a primary intermediary negotiator operating on international markets through the Market Hub platform is certainly an added value for all our financial advisors and our clients - says Paolo Martini, CEO and Dg of Azimut Holding - who will choose to take advantage of the innovative full digital order reception and transmission service. In an increasingly competitive context, it is essential to operate in an open platform logic with the best national and international partners integrated into a single access point for customers".
