Interpump, 2011 net profit +55,5%

Record for Ebitda, which reached 95 million euros (19,3% of sales), compared to 74,1 million euros in 2010 (17,4% of sales), for a growth of 28,2 %.

2011 closes for Interpump with net sales of 493,3 million, against 424,9 million in 2010 (+16,1%). L'consolidated net profit amounts to 42,6 million (equal to 8,6% of sales), compared to 27,4 million in the previous year (+55,5%). Ebitda reached 95 million euros (19,3% of sales), compared to 74,1 million euros in 2010 (17,4% of sales), for a growth of 28,2%.

An important contribution to growth - underlines the company in a note - came from bric (Brazil, Russia, India and China), which recorded a growth of 48,2%, despite still maintaining limited volumes (43,5 million euro sales in 2011), and which increased their weight on consolidated turnover from 7,3% to 9,2%.

Net sales in the fourth quarter of 2011 were €119,3 million, up 15,4% on continuing operations in the same period of 2010, when they amounted to €103,4 million. On a like-for-like basis of consolidation, growth was 13,5%. Consolidated net profit was 10,3 million euros, equal to 8,6% of sales (5,8 million euros in the fourth quarter of 2010), with an increase of 75,6%.

In the wake of these results, just over an hour after closing, the Interpump share gained 0,78% in Piazza Affari.
