Interpump goes shopping in Tuscany

Interpump, the multinational that produces professional high-pressure piston pumps and one of the main groups operating on international markets in the hydraulics sector, has announced that it has acquired control of the Florentine company Mariotti & Pecini, a company active in the design and production of mixers and agitators used in the chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industries for environmental technologies.

The American giant has acquired 60% of the Tuscan company for a total price of 8,9 million euros. Mariotti & Pecini achieved an Ebitda of 2,7 million last year, with an incidence on turnover of 33 percent.

After the acquisition of Bertoli in 2015 and of Inoxpa last February, Interpump therefore confirms its intention to strengthen its presence in the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry sector.
