Interbanca (Banca IFIS) subscribes 5 million ICM bonds

Interbanca (part of Banca IFIS since 30 November 2016) subscribed the bond loan issued by ICM SpA, an industrial group active in the construction sector. The issue of ICM SpA was subscribed by Interbanca for 5 million euro and is the last tranche of a total transaction of 30 million euro.

The issue will be listed on the multilateral trading facility of Borsa Italiana (ExtraMOT PRO professional segment) with maturity in June 2023 and a yield of 4,6%, and will finance the development of the Group's order portfolio both in Italy and abroad.

With this transaction, Banca IFIS Impresa enters the Mini-Bond segment, confirming the Bank's willingness to support excellent groups and SMEs in their growth and expansion projects, also at an international level, with innovative financial instruments.

ICM SpA is a player mainly active in the construction sector, in particular in large civil, industrial and infrastructural engineering works both in Italy and abroad with consolidated experience in road, railway, airport infrastructure and hydraulic works. It is also active in the construction of large industrial, office, commercial and residential building complexes. ICM SpA closed 2016 with a production value of over 340 million euros, of which around 60% was made abroad.

Stefano Cirella, Interbanca's Commercial Lending Manager, commented “We have chosen to finance ICM SpA by subscribing to their bond issue because it is an operation that allows us to support the development of one of the main Italian players in the
infrastructure construction sector, in line with our strategy. Thanks to the issue, ICM has diversified the sources of financing to support the development of its order portfolio, especially abroad. Furthermore, with this transaction, Banca IFIS Impresa enters the Mini-Bond segment and expands the offer of its products in favor of businesses, with the aim of being the financial partner of Italian excellence, always pursuing growth and profitability”.
