Inter-Atalanta and Fiorentina-Roma: the Champions League passes through here. And from Juve-Milan on Sunday

In or out. The 37th day, which started yesterday with the draw between Sampdoria and Sassuolo (2-2) comes with a very rich menu, able to establish with absolute certainty who will participate in the next one Champions and who, on the other hand, will only watch it on TV. At roll call, after these two days, there will still be 90 minutes left, but someone could decide their own destiny right now, treating themselves (or undergoing, depending on your point of view) a last turn in holiday style. Nothing is ever certain in football, but it is clear that three direct clashes such as Inter-Atalanta, Fiorentina-Roma and Juventus-Milan cannot go unnoticed, even more so at this point in the championship.

Inter – Atalanta (20.45 pm, DAZN and Sky)

The most important match on Saturday is definitely that of San Siro, Where Inter of Inzaghi, fresh winner of the Italian Cup, will receive Atalanta by Gasperini. To the Nerazzurri enough of Milan just one point to conquer the Champions next year, waiting to play for the "current" one in the final against Manchester City, while those in Bergamo need the feat of scoring 6 points between today and next Sunday, in the hope that one between Milan and Inter will slow down. Inzaghi is certainly the favourite, but the efforts in the Cup could wipe out his technical superiority, especially since Atalanta have never had midweek commitments and have a decidedly younger "odometer". In short, a balanced match, but certainly not evenly matched: Inter's 5-point lead, in fact, can move a lot also at a tactical level, given that Gasperini will be forced to overreach to seek victory, against an Inzaghi who will instead be able make his ideal race.

Inter - Atalanta, the formations: Inzaghi chooses the "heavy" duo Dzeko-Lukaku, Gasperini responds with Hojlund

However, a lot will depend on the formations since Inter, considering only 72 hours since the final of Coppa Italia, will necessarily have to rest some "very titular". Not that this is a big deal considering Inzaghi is implementing the turnover for several weeks, however with excellent results, but it is clear that tiredness can be an important factor. In the 3-5-2 Interista there will thus be some changes compared to Wednesday, with Onana in goal, D'Ambrosio, De Vrij and Acerbi in defense, Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu and Gosens in midfield, Dzeko and Lukaku in attack. Gasperini, net of some last minute surprises (never to be excluded with him), he should have already chosen his 3-4-2-1 con Sportiello between the posts, Toloi, Djimsiti and Scalvini in the back, Maehle, De Roon, Ederson and Zappacosta in the midfield, Koopmeiners and Pasalic behind the lone striker Hojlund.

Fiorentina – Rome (18pm, DAZN)

The challenge of the Franchi was less decisive, weakened as it is by the finals of Fiorentina and Rome, who could conquer Europe by beating Basel and Seville. The Italian and Mourinho have thus left the championship aside a bit, but this does not mean that they can snub it completely: both, in fact, would do well to keep an emergency "window", otherwise, in the event of defeats in Prague and Budapest, they would really be left empty-handed. However, the calendar does not leave much room for Roma, given that the Europa League final is scheduled for next Wednesday, while the Fiorentina he will have an extra seventh to think about that of Conference. On the other hand, however, the Viola are returning from the efforts of the Italian Cup, moreover without having won anything despite an excellent (and expensive) performance, so it is said that they are not able to offer the usual lively and sparkling football. Certainly Italiano and Mourinho have opposite football philosophies, but if Vincenzo is preferred for aesthetics, José has a curriculum that cannot even be compared with that of his colleague.

Fiorentina - Rome, the formations: great turnover for both the Italian and Mourinho

In any case, this challenge, squeezed as it is between two finals, will live in the name of turnover, albeit with different purposes: the Viola coach wants to make those who have spent so much energy at the Olimpico catch their breath, the Giallorossi one tries to avoid nasty surprises in view of Budapest. At Franchi we will thus see two experimental teams, starting with Fiorentina who will opt for a 4-2-3-1 with Cerofolini in goal, Venuti, Martinez Quarta, Ranieri and Terzic in defense, Mandragora and Duncan in midfield, Kouamé, Barak and Saponara in the trocar, Jovic in attack. However, nothing compared to the changes in Roma, evidently already projected towards the match against Sevilla: Mourinho, in fact, will bet on a 3-4-2-1 with Svilar between the posts, Keramitsis, Llorente and Ibanez in the back, Celik, Bove, Tahirovic and Zalewski in the midfield, Solbakken and El Shaarawy behind the lone striker Belotti.
