Inter: the negotiation with the Chinese at risk, the sale of 15% in the balance

The perplexities of the China Railway Construction Corporation put the sale of 15% of Inter to Beijing at risk – The complexity of the bureaucratic process is at the root of the problems – Sources close to the club: "Already all black and white".

La China doesn't seem so close anymore. In fact, the Asian entry into the capital of Inter, which seemed imminent, is complicated. The operation would appear to have stalled due to some bureaucratic problems, accompanied by a certain skepticism on the part of Beijing, and the serious risk is that the sale of 15% of the Milanese club (for a figure of around 55 million euros) will never be completed.

The first chords between China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) and the holding company that owns the inter had been signed in August, but the first setbacks had already occurred in October, the date scheduled for the closing, which had led to a postponement of the negotiations and forced the president Massimo Moratti to clarify the situation: “The bureaucratic conditions are not easy, but we will close within the year – he said – the new partner's enthusiasm is growing”.

But instead, only the perplexities of the counterpart seem to have grown, perplexities involving the bureaucratic problems for the construction of the new stadium, and also on the quality of the investment itself.

Sources close to Inter, however, show certainty about the success of the affair: "At the moment there are no negotiations with Inter because it has already been done and written down in black and white in a binding contract, still valid and signed last August following a due diligence lasting several months in which the Chinese shared their future industrial plan'.
