Exceptional parterre, Tuesday 20 March (18pm) at the Feltrinelli of the Galleria Alberto Sordi in Rome, for the presentation of the book by the Corriere della Sera journalist Massimo Gaggi, "Homo premium - How technology divides us" (Laterza editions): the top manager Franco Bernabè, the former director of Corriere della Sera and Sole 24 Ore Ferruccio de Bortoli and the minister Carlo Calenda, of the Democratic Party will take part in the vernissage. Moderates the meeting Pietro Del Soldà.
The book was released on March 15 and deals with how the digital revolution emerges a privileged elite and dramatically impoverished masses. After robots replacing manual workers, artificial intelligence is now spreading in the area of intellectuals and services: analysts, doctors, accountants, travel agents, journalists, lawyers. And it probably opens a new season of inequalities: pockets of poverty from unemployment or underpaid precarious jobs.
