Intel buys Mobileye. The announcement was made by the Californian giant. For Intel, the agreement aims to strengthen the technology front for autonomous cars. Mobileye, in fact, is a group that deals with the development of systems for data analysis, localization, mapping and driving assistance and driverless cars.

Intel has offered $63,54 in cash for each share of Mobileye, which represents a 34% capital gain since its last close on Wall Street.

The total value of the deal is approximately 15,3 billion, with an enterprise value of 14,7 billion. Intel thus aims to establish itself on a market that, according to company estimates, will reach 70 billion dollars by 2030.
