Vittorio Conti is the new INPS commissioner. This was announced by the Minister of Labour, Enrico Giovannini, specifying that the office of the former Consob commissioner will last until next 30 September.
The green light for the appointment of Conti, 71 years old and with a long experience in Comit and Banca Intesa after joining Bank of Italy in 1971, came after yesterday's meeting with the social partners.
As mentioned, Conti will play the role of temporary commissioner, while work is in full swing to reform the governance of the social security institution and the appointment of a new president is awaited.
