THEINPS guaranteed it: starting from next 1st August, the amounts due as arrears on pensions will begin to be disbursed, following the sentence of the Constitutional Court which judged the blocking of automatic check adjustments illegitimate. The social security institution has published the circular with the procedures for applying the effects of the sentence: the extent of the automatic revaluation for the years 2012, 2013 and 2014, recognized on the basis of the total amount of the pension benefits of those entitled.
We start with checks from 1.500 €: retirees with a monthly check of that amount they will therefore be entitled to one full repayment of the arrears of 796,27 euros; and the new check will be equal to 1.525,49 euros starting from the month of August, to then rise to 1.541,75 from January. In determining the amount due for 2015, the Institute points out, a definitive equalization coefficient of 0,2% was used, while a provisional coefficient of 0,4 was used in determining the amount for next year, XNUMX%. The reconstitution of the treatments takes place ex officio, i.e. the application is not necessary.
The refunds due on pensions after the ruling of the Consulta, adds the INPS circular, may be also paid to the heirs if they request it. “The amounts relating to the sums subject to repayment – explains the Institute – may be subject to recalculation according to any pension reconstitutions. The calculation of the due differences will also be carried out for the pensions which will be eliminated at the time of processing. The payment of entitlements to those entitled will be made upon request within the limits of the limitation period".
