INPS: layoffs collapse in August (-41,7%)

The use of the collapses layoffs in month of August. According to the data provided today by INPS, last month 39,3 million hours of layoffs were authorized, for a 41,7% decrease compared to August 2014, when 67,5 million had been authorised.

In particular, INPS points out that last month the authorized hours of ordinary layoffs were 3,8 million, while in the same month of 2014 they were 5,9 million, 34,8% more.

As regards the extraordinary redundancy fund, the hours authorized in August were 25,7 million, with a reduction of 49,1% compared to a year ago.

In comparison with the month of July, the drop is 5,7%. Lastly, 9,8 million hours were granted for the Cig by way of derogation, with a decrease of 11,9% compared to August 2014, the month in which 11,3 million hours were authorised.
