Inps: in 9 months over 900 thousand hired with relief

THE INPS RELATIONSHIP - There were 371.152 transformations of fixed-term employment relationships, including those of apprentices - Boom of vouchers.

In the first 9 months of 2015 the hired on a permanent basis with the tax relief provided for by the stability law for this year they have been over 906mila. This was stated by INPS in its report on job insecurity published today, explaining that it is a question of 703.890 new hires and 202.154 transformations of fixed-term contracts. Overall, in the first nine months of 2015, the balance between hirings and job terminations came close to 600 positions. What is "significant" is the comparison with the same value for the previous year, equal to 310.595 units: "the improvement is therefore close to 300 thousand units".

Le transformations of fixed-term employment contracts, including the "transformations" of apprentices, were 371.152 (+18,1% over the year). Terminations of permanent contracts increased slightly (+25.889 units). Consequently, the net change in permanent contracts is strongly positive (+469.393) and clearly higher than that recorded for the corresponding period of the previous year (+98.046). In the age group up to 29, the incidence of "stable" employment relationships on total employment relationships increased from 24,4% in 2014 to 31,3% in 2015.

As for the singles Regions, the increase in permanent hiring 2015 on 2014 results above average nationally (which is 34,4%) in Friuli-Venezia Giulia (+82,0%), Umbria (+59,6%), Piedmont (+54,4%), Marche (+52,8%), Emilia-Romagna (+50,1%), Trentino-Alto-Adige (+48,7%), Veneto (+47,8%), Liguria (+46,0%), Lazio (+41,1%) , Lombardy (+39,0%), Basilicata (+35,9%), Sardinia (+35,4%) and Tuscany (+34,9%). 

I worse results are recorded in the southern regions: Sicily (+10,8%), Puglia (+15,8%) and Calabria (+17,1%). The share of new full-time employment relationships out of the total of new relationships registers a very modest increase of 0,9 percentage points, going from 61,8% in 2014 to 62,7% in 2015.

Compared to 2014, the weight of new employment relationships with monthly salaries of less than 1.000 euros decreased by one percentage point, going from 6,3% to 5,3%. A decrease was also seen in the salary range immediately above (1.001-1.250 euros), the incidence of which decreased from 8,8% in 2014 to 7,9% in 2015. 

As regards job vouchers, 2015 were sold in the first nine months of 81.383.474 voucher intended for the payment of ancillary work services, with a nominal value of 10 euros, with a national average increase, compared to the corresponding period of 2014 (48.067.353), equal to 69,3%, with peaks of 99,4% in Sicily and 87,7% in Puglia.

“The latest INPS data are the sign of something new,” he said from Milan Matteo Renzi, commenting on them during his speech at the Teatro Piccolo and claiming the data on employment growth thanks to the effects of his reforms.
