INPS: guide for retirees in 7 points

The social security institute has produced a short text (downloadable in Pdf) which explains how to verify whether or not one has the right to supplementary pension treatments (payable ex officio or upon request) or tax deductions.

To help retirees who receive low-value checks, INPS has created a new 7-point guide. Thanks to this tool, interested parties will be able to verify whether or not they are entitled to supplementary pension treatments (payable ex officio or upon request) or to tax deductions.

The guide suggests the path to follow in the Inps portal to control and manage one's pension and know one's rights and obligations: from the monthly verification of the amount of one's pension and any changes to the annual income statement, from the rights to additions and pension or family benefits to the tax reduction of pensions for residents of countries with which Italy has signed specific agreements.

The guide is published on the INPS website and can be downloaded in pdf format, but, the Institute specifies, "it has also been made available to URP and Contact Center personnel and to the Institute's intermediaries - who represent the main channels of access to services for the most fragile users, not accustomed to the use of information technology - as a consultable and printable support tool to inform and guide users".
