31 heads of state and around eighty foreign delegations are present today in Rome for the feast of the Republic. And, above all, for the official launch of the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy.
This morning the military parade will take place in the Imperial Forums and President Giorgio Napolitano will lay the laurel wreath on the tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Among the personalities who will attend the ceremony the president of the Russian Federation Dmitrij Medvedev, that of Argentina Cristina Kirchner and the US vice president Joe Biden.
