News on the possible sale of Indesit shares. Among the suitors for the share that should be sold by the shareholder Fineldo (the safe of the Merloni family) there are 4 names: the Turkish Arcelik, the German Bosch Siemens, the Korean LG and the American Whirlpool.
Just the US group, fresh from the acquisition of compatriot Maytag, would have advanced the proposal of a possible offer "card for card": Whirlpool shares in exchange for the Fineldo package. In this way the Merloni family (the Fineldo package is unitary and indivisible) would find itself the minority shareholder of a global giant.
Among the possible buyers, however, the proposal of the Chinese of Haier was skipped, who called themselves off the list of potential interested parties.
