Will three installments envisaged for the payment of the Imu, at least according to the amendment presented in the Finance Committee by rapporteur of the fiscal decree Giancarlo Conte. Should the amendment, which will be voted on this afternoon or, at the latest, tomorrow, be accepted, the three dates to be noted, for the payment of the IMU on the first house in 2012, it will be 16 June, 16 September and 16 December.
The first two installments, according to the amendment, will be equal to one third of the total tax calculated by applying the basic rate and the foreseen deductions, while the third will be the balance of the total tax with adjustment on the previous installments, also taking into account the possibility for municipalities to increase or decrease the basic rate of 0,2%.
On this issue, however, there could be deep rifts between the main parties. In fact, the payment of the IMU by installments is considered essential by Alfano and the PDL, while the secretary of the Pd Pierluigi Bersani does not agree.
