Businesses and Public Administrations, simplifications from Agcom and Unioncamere

More than 20 companies will benefit from the integration of the management system of the Communication Operators Register into the government portal created by InfocCamere - In this way, information will circulate more quickly from the Companies Register to the Public Administration.

Businesses and Public Administrations, simplifications from Agcom and Unioncamere

We continue to streamline the tiring bureaucracy that steals precious time from Italian entrepreneurs. The Guarantor Authority for Communications (AgCom) and the Union of Chambers of Commerce (Unioncamere) have signed up for one Convention that will bring a clear simplification for 20 thousand companies and greater protection for the citizen. This is another step forward on the road to digital administration.

Starting from 16 October 2012, the management system of the Communication Operators Register (ROC) will be integrated into the portal impresainungiorno.gov.it, created by InfoCamere on behalf of Unioncamere. The portal serves to facilitate communications between companies and the Public Administration, with the aim of making relations and procedures, between all the subjects and entities concerned, more efficient and less expensive. It also facilitates the exchange of information between adhering Public Administrations and the Business Register.

This innovation is important because it allows information to circulate constantly between the Business Register/REA (managed by the Chambers of Commerce, which publishes all personal, corporate and historical data of Italian companies) and the Communication Operators Register (which holds, on the other hand, information relating to authorisations, rights of use, trademarks and publications necessary for the start-up and exercise of economic activities in the sectors in which AGCom operates).

In this way, all the data held by the chamber of commerce system will be compiled automatically, guaranteeing the automated development of the chains of shareholdings of the operators registered in the ROC and their directors, in relation to the data held by the Business Register. A step forward also in the name of transparency and thus the protection of citizens.
