Companies abroad: Assocamerestero-Imit agreement

Assocamerestero (the association of Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad and Unioncamere) and Imit – Italian Managers for International Trade, - have signed an agreement aimed at promoting the internationalization of companies.

"In these first two years of life, IMIT, the Confcommercio Association which brings together over 100 international business managers, has already taken many steps to give its professionals an advantage in the difficult job of positioning companies abroad", explains the association led by Giandomenico Auricchio in a note. With this new alliance, Imit members will have the opportunity to develop new relationships across borders. In fact, the memorandum of understanding envisages carrying out an exchange of information, participating in institutional events and defining and disseminating training initiatives to refine the skills of professionals on the activities to be carried out on foreign markets.

“Furthermore, the Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad will host the Local Organizations of IMIT, becoming a point of reference in 56 countries of the world for Italian professionals and managers and/or operating in the country of competence”, the associations say.

"The agreement with IMIT allows us to further expand the panorama of strategic alliances that bring the network of Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad to collaborate with expert and qualified professionals" he comments Gian Domenico Auricchio, president of Assocamerestero.

“The agreement with the Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad represents a competitive advantage for our professionals and an additional service for businesses. - he claims Andrea Bonardi, President of IMIT – We can in fact increase our skills in foreign trade and in the processes of internationalization of companies, developing new collaborations directly in foreign countries. Furthermore, IMIT will be able to act as a bridge with the communities of Italian managers living abroad to develop synergies and projects to promote the internationalization of our country's economic system."
