Will 334 thousand job opportunities available to citizens in the month of February, while in the quarter between February and April 2019 the number of scheduled contracts will reach 1,1 million.

These are the numbers provided by the Borsino delle professioni contained in the monthly Bulletin of Excelsiors information system, realized by Unioncamere and Anpal, where you can view the most in-demand professions one by one.

The figures listed above compared to last year represent a small step backwards: -13 thousand compared to February 2018 and -25 thousand compared to the February-April 2018 period. Southern businesses which will hire 9,5 thousand fewer people than in the same month last year, while from an economic point of view the most penalized sector will be trade with 8,1 thousand fewer entries than in February 2018.

At a national level, Unioncamere highlights the greatest difficulty (+5%) that businesses have to face in finding suitable profiles to hire. According to data, it is very difficult to find skilled workers, a profession that accounts for almost 44% of the expected income.

Returning to the various sectors, the number of contracts planned increases in (approximately 4,9 thousand more contracts expected) and in manufacturing (+3 thousand entries) mainly driven by the distinctive sectors of Made in Italy such as fashion, textiles, metallurgy and mechatronics. Down in construction (-1,7 thousand).

Between the most requested profiles, in addition to skilled workers, figures to be employed in the more dynamic manufacturing sectors stand out, such as mechatronics and the fashion chain, while the weight of administrative and (-3,5 thousand programmed entries) and non-professionals is decreasing sharply qualified (-7,2 thousand).
